Shakespeare's life

William Shakespeare  is interesting!

26 April 1564  – 23 April 1616 was an English poet, playwright and actor, widely regarded as the greatest writer in theEnglish language and the world's pre-eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national poet and the
"Bard of Avon"

In the King James Bible the 46th word of Psalm 46 is ‘shake’ and the 46th word from the end of the same Psalm is ‘spear’. Some think this was a hidden birthday message to the Bard, as the King James Bible was published in 1611 – the year of Shakespeare’s 46th
birthday.

William Shakespeare was born in 1564, but his exact birthdate is unknown. He was baptized on April 26 of that year, so his birth would have been shortly before.

Women were not allowed to act in plays during Shakespeare’s time, so in all of his plays, women’s roles were performed by boys/young men.

He died in 1616. The words “Curst be he that moves my bones” were inscribed on his grave.
